Ten years ago, a friend from Japan gave me a packed cake (草餅). When I opened the gift box, a tiny piece of paper floating on my eyes. The word of 親父の小言
occurred me lot of thinking. I put it into my wallet since then. It is quite meaningful and let me always think of what a father should be like. I respect Japanese culture and this father's value which this value has deeply
embedded in Japanese philosophy for over centuries. You can easily find it in lots of business
activities such as mugs, cakes,
restaurants, plates, towels and so on. Japan is a super nation in the world, although some Chinese disagree. I learn Japanese from 1982 to 1984, but now forgot most of them. Now I have picked up it and hopefully, next time, when I meet my Japanese friends, Mr Honda, a very good friend of mine, I can speak Japanese with him. This is my
promise 8 years ago in the UK.
