My foster father died on 9 Feb 2008 in Shanghai at 6:30am aged 84. He brought me up until my aged 10 in Shanghai and gave me all his fathering care and kindness. He always bought a lot of crabs if he knew I came back.then, we mostly had little white wine during dinner together. I can't drink wine, just for being happy with him. We didn't have a lots deep talks, I know he loves me. I love and respect him very much. His every single movement is all in my memories. I recalled an article in school text book called the shade 背影 by China's famous writer ZQ Zhu 朱自清(1898-1948). Last time I saw him in nursing home that was on 19 May 2007. He was crying when he saw me. I am sad for not being able to attend his funeral on 12 Feb 2008. I love him deeply with my heart. Dear father, please rest in peace. I love you.
